THE NEW BIKE.BOX V2
REINVENTED.
A different approach was taken with a focus on aesthetics, environment, installation and user friendliness.
The bike.box V2 is designed to offer secure bicycle parking at the highest level while using the least amount of space.
The patented design parks 2 bikes, each in their private box on just over 2 square meters. When placed on a (parallel) car park spot, we can fit 4 units that can park a total of 8 bicycles each in their own safe box.
Since these products are placed in public space, we have a strong focus on the design aesthetics, using playful silhouettes and the option to select custom colors on the doors. The side panels can be dressed with optional wood or recycled plastic panels.
The roof is prepared to hold natural greens, like sedem.
acces can be from a traditional key to E-lock APP access.
User friendliness is improved by adding a back wheel slider, that helps parking the bike backwards into the box, and extra advantage is that you can use the back wheel lock outside the box and slide the bike in while the wheel is locked.
The bike.box V2 is designed to ship flat packed, to minimize the environmental transportation footprint. We managed to reduced the shipping volume with around 65%. Inspired by that Swedish furniture company.
The boxes are fully modular, they are connectable, future expandable and upgradable and installation is a breeze with only 2 people and 2 simple tools.
